learn something new today

Olympic National Park, on the Peninsula (that thing across the sound, you idiots), includes a temperate rain forest, including the Hoh Rain Forest and Quinault Rain Forest, the wettest area in the continental United States.

(Contrary to what random drunk dude at Jackalope bar thinks, not all of Washington and Oregon and Northern California are rainforest; wikipedia told me so.)
